A hidden Treasure is whispering by radio. Your Hound hears how loud it is, never which way. Find it, fast.
Stuck? no beeps → walk somewhere else · beeping but lost → trick 2 · screen full → trick 3 · fast alarm → look around you, not at the screen
Walk twenty paces in any direction. Did the beeps speed up or slow down?
Faster → keep going. Slower → turn around.
Nothing at all? Not broken — just too far. Cross to another part of the area until it starts.
Slow = far off · medium = warm · fast alarm = very close. The signal fades with distance, so the beeps are a distance meter.
Stand still, hold the Hound out in front of you and turn all the way round while you count to ten. Watch for the reading to drop.
When it drops, the Treasure is behind you.
Your body blocks it. Radio does not go through people easily, and the aerial listens every way at once — so blocking it is the only way to get a direction.
When every bar is lit and nothing changes as you move, press button A. Press it again if it fills up again. B undoes it.
Still full after two presses? It is within a couple of paces. Put the screen down and search with your eyes.
A only changes the Hound, never the Treasure — like sunglasses in bright light. It lets you tell two metres from one.
